Barcelona Tram

in 1999 Barcelona Regional asked for help to put a face to the Urbanisctic plan which would connect Downtown  with four towns around Barcelona, this work had to draw the state of the art for tramway rolling stock at the time

two years later we were comissioned to help producing the Technical Specification for a public tender to deliver the rolling stock. We designed the tram taking in account all the products of the railways OEMs so we would not leave anyone behind

When the tender was awarded to ALSTOM we were contracted  by them to elaborate and adapt all the design requirements to their existing tram prlatform "Citadis". And the result is what today is still in service

Strategic design, technical specifications, industrial design, engineering development, mock-ups and prototypes were the tasks we developed from 1999 to 2002
